Status, Objectives, Activities
| ICSEAD was established as an incorporated Foundation under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (formerly the Ministry of Education, Science, Sports, and Culture) on September 1, 1989. Its principal assets amount to ¥937,352,000. The Centre aims to contribute to knowledge and understanding of development issues in East Asia and it also seeks to encourage international cooperation. To attain these goals it conducts research on business, economics, politics, and social issues in East Asia and promotes international academic exchanges. |
