The Asian Economic Journal is published four times a year in March, June, September and December by Blackwell Publishing Ltd. The East Asian Economic Association is responsible for editorial matters as well as handling individual memberships/subscriptions for members residing in East Asia. Blackwell Publishers handles individual memberships/subscriptions for members residing in all other regions and for all institutional memberships/subscriptions. All memberships/subscriptions are supplied on a calendar year basis (January to December).

Note: East Asia is defined to consist of Brunei, Cambodia, China, East Timor, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Laos, Malaysia, Macao, Mongolia, Myanmar, Papua New Guinea, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam.

Individual subscribers (members) residing in East Asia (see definition above) should remit payment Hong Kong Office. Payments by credit card or by cheques (in either US$ or HK$, payable to the East Asian Economic Association) are acceptable. For 2008, annual subscription (membership) fees are as follows:

a-All individual subscribers are automatically enrolled as members of the East Asian Economic Association.
b-Payments in yen are only accepted from residents of Japan through Japanese financial institutions.
