Since 1988 the East Asian Economic Association has held international conventions biannually. This page provides information about upcoming and past conventions below.
Upcoming Conventions: The 12th International Convention of the East Asian Economic Association will be held on 2-3 October 2010 in Seoul, Republic of Korea. Participants should register by 31 August 2010 by submitting the Convention Registration Form (see directions on form), which can by downloaded from the link below:
Arrangements have been made for participants to get preferred rates at one of the following two hotels. Reservations are available on a first-come-first-serve basis. Please download the appropriate reservation form and submit it directly to the hotel you wish to stay at (see forms for submission instructions):

Past Conventions: Information about conventions five to eleven is provided below. Electronic copies of the programs for all conventions and the papers from conventions seven, eight, nine, and ten are also available for download. Please note that paper downloads are archived in zip format to reduce size, but are rather large and require a high-speed internet connection to download. All programs and papers are in pdf format and require the Adobe Reader. In some cases Chinese, Japanese, or Korean fonts may be required to read these pdf files. The Eleventh International Convention held in Manila on 15-16 November 2008 Unfortunately, the program and papers from this convention are not available for download.
